Description:
Zeko Epoxy & Flooring Clear Concrete Sealer is a premium quality, UV stabilised acrylic resin sealer formulated to improve cleanability and enhance the colour of Spray-On (Resurfaced) decorative concrete. Suitable for use on coloured or stencilled resurfaced concrete. Addition of Slip Resistant Powder may improve pedestrian safety.
Surface Preparation:
Remove all chips and debris from dry, newly resurfaced pavement using a broom and blower only. Apply at least one coat of sealer on the same day pavement is resurfaced. To re-seal older concrete resurfaced pavements, thoroughly clean using a high pressure water cleaner. Surface must be free of oil, grease, dirt or other complaints. Allow surface to dry completely.
Application:
Apply sealer using a good quality roller or sprayer at the rate of 3 to 5 square meters per litre. Two coats are recommended for newly resurfaced pavements, one coat for previously sealed pavements. Apply when temperatures are between 10 C and 25 C, and concrete is close to ambient temperature. Plan to finish 3 hours before temperatures drops below 10 C later in the day.
Clean Up:
Clean equipment with Zeko Xylene. Follow all safety precautions.
Dry Time:
Touch dry in 1 to 3 hours depending on temperature. Light foot traffic in 24 hours. Allow a minimum of 7 days before permitting vehicular traffic.
Note: Rain or moisture will adversely affect uncured sealer and cause whitening.
